Care Guide
Proper care ensures your Assierinuo intimate apparel maintains its quality, comfort, and longevity.
General Care Instructions
Always Check Labels
Read care labels carefully before washing. Different materials may have specific requirements for optimal care.
Separate by Color
Wash light and dark colors separately to prevent bleeding and maintain the vibrancy of your garments.
Use Gentle Detergents
Choose mild, fragrance-free detergents to protect delicate fabrics and maintain skin comfort.
Underwear Care
Pre-wash Preparation
Turn underwear inside out to protect the outer surface and any decorative elements during washing.
Water Temperature
Use cold water (30°C or below) to prevent shrinking and maintain elasticity of elastic bands.
Washing Cycle
Select a gentle or delicate cycle with reduced agitation to minimize wear and tear on delicate fabrics.
Drying
Air dry by laying flat or hanging. Avoid direct sunlight and never use high heat settings in the dryer.
Tights & Hosiery Care
Before Wearing
- Check for any snags or rough surfaces on nails and jewelry
- Put on tights when sitting down to reduce stress on the fabric
- Roll tights up from the toe, then gradually unroll up the leg
Washing Instructions
- Hand wash in cool water with gentle detergent when possible
- If machine washing, use a mesh laundry bag for protection
- Never wring or twist tights - gently squeeze out excess water
- Rinse thoroughly to remove all detergent residue
Drying & Storage
- Lay flat on a towel to air dry away from direct heat
- Store flat in drawers or hanging on specialized hosiery hangers
- Keep away from rough surfaces that could cause snags
Sock Care
Washing Guidelines
Socks are generally more durable than other intimate apparel, but proper care extends their life significantly:
- Turn socks inside out before washing to clean the interior thoroughly
- Wash in warm water (40°C) for cotton socks, cool for synthetic blends
- Use regular detergent but avoid fabric softeners on athletic socks
- Machine dry on medium heat or air dry for best results
Special Care for Different Materials
Wool Socks
Use wool-specific detergent and cold water. Air dry only to prevent shrinking.
Athletic/Performance Socks
Wash after each wear. Use antibacterial detergent if available. Avoid fabric softeners.
Compression Socks
Hand wash or use gentle cycle. Air dry to maintain compression properties.
Troubleshooting Common Issues
Elastic Band Stretching
Cause: Hot water washing or high-heat drying
Prevention: Always use cold water and air dry elastic garments
Solution: Unfortunately, stretched elastic cannot be restored. Replace when comfort is compromised.
Fabric Pilling
Cause: Friction during washing or wearing
Prevention: Wash inside out, use gentle cycles, avoid over-washing
Solution: Use a fabric shaver or pill remover carefully on affected areas
Color Fading
Cause: Hot water, harsh detergents, or sun exposure
Prevention: Cold water washing, mild detergents, indoor drying
Solution: Color-safe bleach alternatives may help restore some vibrancy
Tights Running
Cause: Snags from rough surfaces or improper handling
Prevention: Careful application, nail maintenance, proper storage
Solution: Clear nail polish on small runs can prevent further damage
